Summary: The Informatica MDM Architect role involves defining and designing the MDM architecture framework to ensure scalability and performance while leading the implementation of Informatica MDM solutions. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders to capture requirements and establish data governance policies, as well as mentoring development teams in MDM design. The architect will also monitor and optimize MDM processes and stay updated with product enhancements. This is a remote position with a focus on data quality and integration with enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and design the overall MDM architecture framework, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with enterprise data strategy.
  • Lead end-to-end implementation of Informatica MDM solutions, including data modeling, hub configuration, workflows, business rules, and integration with enterprise applications.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data stewards, and IT teams to capture requirements, define data governance policies, and ensure master data accuracy.
  • Drive data quality, cleansing, matching, and survivorship rules to establish a single version of truth across domains (Customer, Product, Supplier, etc.).
  • Provide architectural guidance and best practices on Informatica MDM, IDD (Informatica Data Director), BES (Business Entity Services), and integration with external systems.
  • Mentor and guide development teams in MDM design and implementation activities.
  • Monitor and optimize MDM processes for performance, scalability, and data integrity.
  • Stay updated with Informatica product enhancements and emerging MDM technologies to recommend strategic improvements.

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years specifically in Informatica MDM design and architecture.
  • Strong expertise in MDM Hub configuration, data modeling, workflows, business entity services, and SIF APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with IDD configuration, user exits, BES, and web services integration.
  • Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and master data lifecycle management.
  • Strong SQL and database skills (Oracle, SQL Server, or similar).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
