Summary: The Informatica Developer with PowerCenter role involves designing and developing workflows for enterprise systems using Informatica, with a focus on ETL solutions and data integration. Candidates should have extensive experience in Informatica, SQL, and data modeling, along with a preferred background in Java and Azure Data Factory. The position is remote and is expected to last for over 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design Informatica workflows for enterprise systems.
- Deploy Informatica to production environments.
- Write scripts to manage, move, and schedule files in accordance with Informatica integration.
- Support Informatica in medium or large operating environments.
- Develop, modify, troubleshoot, and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Implement ETL solutions with effective design and optimized performance.
- Utilize industry-standard recommendations for job recovery, failover, logging, and alerting mechanisms.
- Preferred development with Azure Data Factory and experience in the banking and insurance industry.
Key Skills:
- Experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
- Minimum 5 years in a medium or large operating environment supporting Informatica.
- Minimum 4 years of SQL experience.
- Deep understanding of relational/dimensional data modeling and data mapping design.
- Design and implementation of ETL solutions.
- Preferred background in Java, J2EE, and database management (DB2, SQL, PL/SQL, JDBC).

Deep understanding of relational/dimensional data modeling and data mapping design, integration, migration and warehousing.
Design and Implementation of ETL solutions with effective design and optimized performance, ETL Development with industry standard recommendations for jobs recovery, fail over, logging, alerting mechanisms.
Preferred development background with Java, J2EE, Database building, SQL scripting and Management: DB2, SQL, PL/SQL, JDBC, Mapping and Workflow Tools.
Preferred experiencing developing with Azure Data Factory.
Previous experience in the banking and insurance industry preferred.
