Summary: The Informatica Data Quality Specialist is responsible for designing and developing data quality rules and workflows using Informatica IDMC CDI and CDQ. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance data quality through profiling, cleansing, and implementing dashboards. Additionally, the specialist will document processes and ensure compliance with data governance standards. This position is remote and classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop data quality rules, mappings, and workflows using Informatica IDMC CDI and CDQ.
- Perform data profiling, cleansing, parsing, standardization, and matching to improve data quality.
- Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data quality requirements.
- Implement data quality dashboards and exception handling mechanisms.
- Integrate data quality processes with ETL pipelines and cloud data platforms.
- Document data quality processes, rules, and technical specifications.
- Monitor and optimize performance of data quality jobs and workflows.
- Support data governance initiatives by ensuring compliance with data standards and policies.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) and/or IDMC.
- Strong knowledge of data profiling, cleansing, and validation techniques.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with databases like Oracle, SQL Server, or Snowflake.
