Informatica B2B Developer

Summary: The Informatica B2B Developer role is a fully remote position focused on designing, developing, and maintaining B2B data exchange solutions using the Informatica B2B suite. Candidates must possess security clearance and have extensive experience with data transformation and integration processes. The role involves collaboration with business analysts and trading partners to ensure effective data exchange and support for production issues. Strong technical skills in Informatica tools and various data formats are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain B2B data exchange solutions using the Informatica B2B suite, including B2B Data Exchange, Data Transformation, and MFT.
• Create and configure B2B Data Exchange objects such as partners, accounts, profiles, endpoints, and workflows to manage trading partner relationships.
• Develop complex Data Transformation projects to parse and serialize various unstructured and semi-structured data formats, including EDI (X12), XML, JSON, CSV, and flat files.
• Build and optimize Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) workflows that integrate with B2B Data Exchange to process and route data.
• Implement and manage secure file transfers using Informatica MFT, including protocols like SFTP, FTP, and AS2.
• Ensure robust integration between the B2B suite and other enterprise systems, such as ERP, CRM, and data warehousing platforms.
• Set up and configure B2B Gateway for cloud-based partner integration.
• Collaborate with business analysts and trading partners to define data exchange requirements and specifications.
• Perform thorough testing, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing, to ensure the accuracy and reliability of B2B solutions.
• Provide production support, perform root cause analysis, and troubleshoot issues related to data transformation and exchange failures.
• Utilize the B2B Data Exchange Operator Console to monitor data flows, events, and performance.
• Create custom dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) with trading partners.
• Follow best practices for B2B development, configuration management, and deployment.

Key Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a developer with a strong focus on the Informatica B2B suite.
• Hands-on expertise with Informatica B2B Data Exchange and Data Transformation.
• Proficiency in developing complex mappings, transformations, and workflows in Informatica PowerCenter or IICS.
• In-depth knowledge of various data formats, including EDI standards (X12), XML, JSON, and CSV.
• Solid experience with relational databases and strong SQL skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with Informatica MFT and B2B Gateway.
• Knowledge of industry-specific EDI standards (HIPAA, OAGIS).
• Familiarity with shell scripting for automation and job scheduling.
• Informatica certification in B2B Data Exchange or other relevant modules.
