InfoBlox DDI Network Engineer

Summary: The Network Engineer (Infoblox) role is focused on administering and maintaining Infoblox appliances for DNS, DHCP, and DDI functions in a fully remote environment. The position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure high availability and compliance with security policies. Candidates should have hands-on experience with Infoblox and Windows DNS/DHCP services. Strong troubleshooting skills and relevant certifications are desirable for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, configure, and maintain Infoblox appliances for DNS, DHCP, and (DDI) functions.
• Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server DNS and DHCP services.
• Design and implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions for DNS/DHCP.
• Monitor, analyze, and optimize DDI services for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with network, security, and systems teams on project and operational tasks.
• Perform upgrades, patches, and security hardening of DDI environments.
• Document configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Provide Level 2/3 support for DNS/DHCP-related incidents and requests.
• Ensure compliance with industry best practices and internal security policies.

Key Skills:

• Experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
• Proven expertise with Infoblox DDI (IPAM, DNS, DHCP) administration.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server DNS and DHCP.
• Experience with network protocols, TCP/IP, routing, and switching concepts.
• Scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Python, etc.) are a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud DNS/DHCP solutions (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications (CCNA, Infoblox NIOS, Microsoft, etc.) are desirable.
