Summary: This role is for a Senior Industrial Designer / Design Engineer who will transform completed industrial design concepts into production-ready CAD drawings within a live client environment. The position is remote but involves collaboration with a London-based team and requires immediate availability. Key Responsibilities:
- Integrate existing external industrial design into a client's SOLIDWORKS master file and database.
- Engineer finished parts within the live CAD environment to DFM standards.
- Produce complete, production-ready part drawings with tolerances, dimensions, and GD&T.
- Work across plastic parts, mechanicals, and sheet metal components.
- Collaborate closely with a lead engineer and design-CAD lead throughout the project.
Key Skills:
- Expert-level SOLIDWORKS skills, including surfacing, part modelling for plastics and sheet metal, complex assembly work, and production drawings.
- Proven background in industrial design with an understanding of form, human factors, and aesthetics in manufacturing.
- Extensive contract experience with a track record of quickly integrating into busy teams.

Scope of the Role
This Senior Industrial Designer / Design Engineer contract sits at the intersection of industrial design and design engineering. The concept work is largely complete; your job is to take it forward into engineered, manufacturable parts and full production documentation, embedded in a small, senior design team for approximately one month.
- Integrate existing external ID into a client's SOLIDWORKS master file and database
