Indirect Tax Technology Lead – SAP S/4HANA & Tax Engine Integration

The Indirect Tax Technology Lead is responsible for the design, implementation, and governance of indirect tax determination within SAP S/4HANA and its integration with the external tax engine (e.g., OneSource, Vertex, Avalara).
This role serves as the single point of accountability for ensuring that SAP transactional processes and master data correctly drive tax determination, reporting, and compliance outcomes. The position focuses on the interaction between S/4HANA and the tax engine rather than ownership of tax compliance operations or tax reporting.
The individual will work closely with the Indirect Tax Digital Transformation Lead (Business), Finance, SAP Functional Teams, Master Data, and Systems Integrators to design scalable global tax solutions that support VAT, GST, Sales & Use Tax, and other indirect tax requirements.
