Summary: The Immigration Consultant role is a remote position focused on delivering expert immigration advice and support to corporate clients and their employees. The consultant will work closely with engagement teams, providing guidance on visa applications and ensuring compliance with immigration laws. This position requires a proactive approach and a commitment to excellent client service, along with a deep understanding of immigration policies. The contract is for six months with a potential extension, starting in June.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technically accurate and commercially sound immigration advice to clients.
  • Provide day-to-day support to Analysts, including delegation and review of tasks.
  • Lead and establish case strategies for a range of visa applications.
  • Maintain deep technical knowledge of Immigration Rules and keep updated with policy changes.
  • Liaise with relevant immigration authorities.
  • Prepare detailed strategic and compliance advice for clients managing international business factors.
  • Participate in knowledge management culture, including training and business development.
  • Utilize firm systems for data analysis, reporting, and administrative duties.
  • Manage effectively within diverse teams in an inclusive culture.

Role: Immigration Consultant

Rate: Day rate (Inside IR35 through an umbrella company)

Location: Remote

Start Date: Beginning of June

Contract Length: 6 months (with possible extension)

As a Consultant, you will work alongside our engagement teams as a key part of our service delivery model and receive on the job training for client familiarisation.

In particular, Consultants are responsible for:

  • Delivering technically accurate and commercially sound advice with great customer service to our clients.
  • Provide day to day support to Analysts which includes delegation and review.
  • Leading and establishing the case strategy on a full range of visa applications to enable international moves.
  • Deep technical knowledge of Immigration Rules, laws and systems and keeping up to date with changes in immigration policies and wider global immigration trends.
  • Liaising with relevant immigration authorities.
  • Preparing detailed strategic and compliance advice to provide clients looking to manage a range of factors in their international business/lifestyle.
  • Participating in our knowledge management culture including assisting, preparing news, training, thought leadership pieces, business development and client projects as required.
  • Proper use of firm systems for data analysis, reporting, filing, billing and other administrative duties to ensure effective account management.
  • Manage effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution.
