IFS Support Analyst

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for the IFS ERP platform.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve incidents within agreed SLAs.
  • Support IFS Cloud configuration, administration and ongoing maintenance.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions and security within IFS.
  • Support business users across Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing and Service Management functions.
  • Analyse system issues and identify root causes.
  • Work closely with development teams on bug fixes and enhancements.
  • Assist with upgrades, patches and new IFS Cloud releases.
  • Support integrations between IFS and third-party applications.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles.
  • Participate in testing, change management and deployment activities.
  • Provide guidance and training to end users where required.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong commercial experience supporting IFS ERP.
  • Experience supporting IFS Cloud (preferred) or IFS Applications 10.
  • Excellent understanding of ERP support within enterprise environments.
  • Experience supporting one or more of the following IFS modules: Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Projects, Asset Management, Service Management, Maintenance, Human Capital Management.
  • Strong SQL knowledge for troubleshooting and reporting.
  • Experience supporting integrations and APIs.
  • Excellent incident, problem and change management experience.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working within ITIL environments.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with IFS Cloud Migration projects.
  • Azure or Microsoft Cloud experience.
  • REST APIs and integration technologies.
  • Power BI reporting.
  • Azure DevOps or Jira.
  • Understanding of CI/CD deployment processes.
  • Experience working within global organisations.
