Summary: The IBM MQ Infra Admin role is a remote position requiring extensive experience in managing middleware tools and applications on Unix/Linux platforms. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage tools and applications hosted on Unix/Linux platforms including Redhat Linux, IBM AIX, IBM iOS, and Amazon Linux.
- Administer middleware tools such as IBM MQ, IBM WebSphere, and Apache Tomcat.
- Oversee security certificate lifecycle management and vulnerability mitigation on middleware tools and Unix/Linux OS platforms.
- Implement scripting and automation using Shell, Bash, and Ansible.
- Administer IBM power P20 series including HMC/VIOS/LAPR/IBM Mksysb.
- Manage OS configuration using RHEL Satellite and AWS Systems Manager.
- Utilize observability and monitoring tools on Unix/Linux for log aggregation, metrics, and tracing.
