Summary: The role focuses on iSeries development, requiring expertise in technologies such as ILE COBOL and DB2. Candidates will engage in requirement analysis, design documentation, and issue resolution while collaborating with business teams. Key Responsibilities:
- iSeries Development Expertise in technologies such as ILE COBOL, ILE CL, database DB2
- Knowledge of iSeries APIs, Data queues, User queues, multithreading, Journaling, and IBM iSeries file systems
- Experience with SQL and MQ Series is a plus
- Functional Requirements and perform requirement analysis
- Estimate and Monitor Estimates
- Work with Business teams to prioritize work
- Prepare detailed design documentation
- Reporting and tracking of assignments
- Fix high priority issues
