Summary: The role of IBM DataPower / ACE Developer involves designing, developing, testing, and supporting integration solutions and APIs within enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in IBM technologies, including ACE, IIB, DataPower, and DB2, and will be responsible for ensuring high performance and reliability of integration services. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and IBM DataPower.
- Develop and support SOAP and RESTful web services for enterprise applications.
- Build, configure, and deploy APIs and integration services across multiple environments.
- Work with IBM Integration Bus (IIB) and IBM WebSphere Service Registry and Repository (WSRR) to manage service integrations.
- Develop and optimize integrations involving IBM DB2 databases.
- Monitor and troubleshoot integration applications using AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring tools.
- Participate in application design, code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and development teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable integration solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution to ensure system stability.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational procedures.
- Support CI/CD and deployment activities for integration and API solutions.
Key Skills:
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in integration and API development.
- Strong development experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), IBM Integration Bus (IIB), IBM DataPower, and IBM DB2.
- Experience with IBM WebSphere Service Registry and Repository (WSRR).
- Hands-on experience developing and supporting SOAP and REST APIs.
