Summary: The IBM AS400 Developer + Mainframe role is a remote position requiring extensive experience in Information Technology, specifically with IBM AS400 and mainframe applications. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications while collaborating within a diverse team environment. A strong understanding of SDLC and experience in healthcare is preferred. This position is W2 only and has a duration of 6+ months with potential for conversion to hire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain applications on IBM AS400.
- Collaborate with a diverse team and multiple stakeholders.
- Utilize knowledge of SDLC in application development.
- Work with ILE RPG, CL, SYNON/2E, and DB2/400.
- Identify root causes of issues and propose solutions.
- Participate in agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
- Engage in a global delivery environment.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology.
- At least 7 years of IT experience.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of dynamic experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of Education.
At least 7 years of Information Technology Experience.
Experience with IBM AS400. Experience developing applications and maintaining application developed in AS400.
Should have the mainframe experience and some healthcare

Good proven knowledge and understanding of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle).
Good working knowledge in ILE RPG and CL.
Experience with SYNON/2E and RPG
