Summary: An opportunity for a senior IAM leader to join a leading organization and define the strategy, vision, and roadmap for Identity & Access Management. The role is strategic, focusing on enhancing IAM capabilities and ensuring compliance with SOX and regulatory requirements in a complex environment. The position requires strong leadership and collaboration with various stakeholders to implement best practices in IAM. This is a remote role with ad-hoc travel requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and lead the IAM & PAM strategy.
- Drive improvement programmes to strengthen IAM capabilities and processes.
- Lead and influence architects, engineers, and IAM stakeholders to implement best practices.
- Ensure IAM and PAM satisfy SOX and regulatory requirements, while promoting a forward-looking, identity-first approach.
- Identify gaps and inefficiencies in current IAM controls and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and regulators/auditors to ensure alignment on control expectations.
- Provide thought leadership on identity, access management, and privileged access strategies across the organisation.
Key Skills:
- Proven senior leadership experience in IAM, preferably at director level, ideally within Big4, regulated financial services, or similar environments.
- Strong experience across IAM and PAM, with the ability to set strategy and drive organisational improvement.
- Excellent understanding of SOX compliance and other regulatory requirements as they relate to identity and access.
- Experience influencing and leading cross-functional teams in complex environments.
- Strategic thinker with practical experience in defining what "good" looks like for IAM at scale.
