Summary: The IAM/OAuth Architect role involves leading the design and implementation of consumer access management solutions for a UK government client. The position requires active SC Clearance and is fully remote, focusing on delivering secure and scalable IAM solutions. The architect will collaborate with various stakeholders and produce technical documentation while driving automation efforts. This is a contract position with an initial duration of 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the high-level and low-level design of IAM solutions
• Implement secure and scalable consumer access management platforms
• Design and integrate APIs with modern authentication/authorisation protocols
• Drive automation using tools such as Python and Ansible
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders across multiple teams
• Produce technical documentation and troubleshoot complex identity issues

Key Skills:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• Deep expertise in IBM Security Verify Access, OAuth 2.0/OIDC, API Design, XACML, MFA/MMFA
• Strong Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Ansible)
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Experience delivering IAM solutions in public sector environments preferred
• Active SC Clearance is essential
