Summary: The IAM/OAuth Architect role involves leading the design and implementation of consumer access management solutions for a UK government client. Candidates must possess active SC Clearance and have extensive experience in Identity & Access Management. The position is fully remote and requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure secure and scalable IAM solutions. The contract duration is initially set for 6 months, with an immediate start date.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the high-level and low-level design of IAM solutions
• Implement secure and scalable consumer access management platforms
• Design and integrate APIs with modern authentication/authorisation protocols
• Drive automation using tools such as Python and Ansible
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders across multiple teams
• Produce technical documentation and troubleshoot complex identity issues

Key Skills:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• Deep expertise in IBM Security Verify Access
• Proficiency in OAuth 2.0 / OIDC, API Design
• Knowledge of XACML, MFA / MMFA
• Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g. Python, Ansible)
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Experience delivering IAM solutions in public sector environments preferred
