Summary: We are seeking a Hyperion Financial Analyst with 6 to 8 years of experience, proficient in Hyperion SmartView and advanced Excel. The role involves analyzing financial data, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and generating insights for business decisions. The candidate will be responsible for preparing financial reports and collaborating with business units to ensure data accuracy and integrity. This position is remote and classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, analyze, and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports using SmartView.
  • Extract and manipulate data from Hyperion / Oracle EPM using SmartView for detailed financial analysis.
  • Build, maintain, and automate Excel-based financial models and dashboards.
  • Use advanced Excel formulas (IF, AND, OR, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, etc.) to analyze complex data sets.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
  • Collaborate with business units to gather financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial reports and analysis.
  • Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities.

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis or FP&A.
  • Strong SmartView experience and proficiency in Hyperion Planning / Essbase is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills with thorough knowledge of formulas (IF, AND, OR, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
