Summary: Mercor is looking for a Human Resources Specialist to assist in an AI research initiative by writing and validating HR-focused prompts for training large language models. Key Responsibilities:
- Write high-quality HR scenario-based prompts to train AI systems
- Review and validate prompt-response pairs for accuracy, clarity, and relevance
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs and provide structured feedback
- Ensure alignment with current HR best practices, compliance standards, and operational workflows
- Collaborate asynchronously with the project team to meet quality expectations
Key Skills:
- 3+ years of professional experience in Human Resources or People Operations
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Psychology, Business, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of hiring processes, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, compliance, and HR documentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to provide clear, constructive feedback
- Must be able to complete a 25-minute screen-sharing task as part of the interview
- Desktop or laptop required (mobile applications not supported)

About the Role

Your expertise will directly contribute to the development of AI tools that better understand real-world HR operations, compliance, and employee support practices.
