Summary: The HR Generalist role focuses on employee relations within a leading national housing and support provider. This temporary position requires an experienced HR professional to advise managers on various employee-related matters while fostering an inclusive workplace culture. The role is fully remote, offering flexibility and a commitment to work-life balance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, particularly in employee relations, and will be responsible for supporting managers and implementing HR policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising managers on employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, and absence management.
- Supporting change initiatives such as restructures, redundancies, and TUPE processes.
- Coaching and upskilling managers to handle people matters confidently.
- Updating and implementing HR policies in line with legislation and best practice.
- Producing reports and analysing HR data to support decision-making.
- Supporting Equality, Diversity & Inclusion initiatives, and HR projects across the organisation.
Key Skills:
- HR experience of 3 years plus with up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law.
- CIPD Level 5 and above is essential.
- Solid HR generalist experience with a strong focus on employee relations.
- Excellent communicator who can build trust and influence at all levels.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working autonomously.
- Confident using HR systems and Microsoft 365.
- Willing to travel occasionally across the UK for in-person meetings.

My client, a leading national housing and support provider , is looking for a People Partner to join their small, collaborative People Services team. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and proactive HR professional to work in a purpose-driven organisation that genuinely values its people.
You’ll play a key role in supporting managers across the business, acting as a trusted advisor and coach on all people-related matters. With a strong focus on employee relations, you’ll help create a fair, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture that aligns with the organisation’s mission and values.
