Remote - Immediate interviews for HRIS Consultant with strong Workday implementation experience - 12 months contract
We are seeking an experienced HRIS Consultant with strong Workday implementation and system administration expertise to support a large-scale HRIS transformation initiative.
Our immediate priority is to bring in a resource who can quickly add value to the HRIS program, particularly in the areas of Payroll, Learning, Talent Management, and Talent Acquisition. We would also welcome candidates with change management experience, as that would be beneficial to the team.
- The ideal candidate will have multiple Workday implementation experiences and be capable of providing immediate value in a fast-paced environment.
- Payroll specifics: Needs someone with deep, hands-on payroll module experience — especially integration, garnishments, and related configuration/setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Workday implementation, testing, configuration, and post-deployment activities.
- Provide hands-on administration and functional support for Workday modules.
- Partner with HR, Payroll, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and configure solutions.
- Support testing activities including SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and issue tracking.
- Configure and maintain Workday business processes, reports, and security.
- Troubleshoot functional and system issues and recommend scalable solutions.
- Assist with data validation, integrations testing, and production readiness activities.
- Drive user adoption and support change management initiatives.
- Create and maintain functional documentation, test scripts, and training materials.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of HRIS experience with a focus on Workday.
- Multiple end-to-end Workday implementation experiences.
- Strong Workday configuration and system administration experience.
- Experience supporting one or more of the following modules:
- Payroll
- Learning
- Talent Management
- Talent Acquisition
- Strong testing experience including UAT, regression, and integration testing.
- Experience troubleshooting Workday functional and system issues.
- Ability to work independently and contribute quickly in a fast-paced implementation environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Change Management experience.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale HRIS transformations.
- Knowledge of Workday reporting, security, and integrations.
- PMP, Workday certifications, or other HR technology certifications preferred.
