Summary: This contract position seeks an experienced HRIS Consultant/Project Manager to lead HiBob implementation projects over a 4-6 month period. The role requires a blend of HRIS consulting expertise and project management skills to ensure successful project delivery, including solution design, data migration, and training. The consultant will manage multiple projects, engage with senior stakeholders, and adapt to client needs while working primarily from home. Flexibility for on-site client meetings is necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and scope are met.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and stakeholder alignment.
- Manage and chair steering committee meetings, driving executive-level decision-making.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while proactively addressing any issues.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure successful integration and adoption of solutions.
- Conduct discovery workshops to gather functional and technical requirements.
- Configure HiBob modules in line with client needs and best practices.
- Develop and manage test plans, scripts, and scenarios for UAT.
- Design and deliver customised training for HR teams, managers, and employees.
- Manage go-live activities, triage issues, and oversee system handover.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience leading HiBob implementation projects end to end.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in project management and resourcing tools.

This is a contract/associate position likely to be around 4-6 months, 4-5 days per week. We are looking for an experienced HRIS Consultant/Project Manager to lead the delivery of HiBob implementation projects on a contract basis. This role combines hands-on HRIS consulting expertise with structured project management, ensuring successful outcomes across solution design, data migration, UAT, training, change management, and go-live support. You will be responsible for managing multiple implementation projects from start to finish, leading steering committees, and handling challenging technical conversations with senior stakeholders. The ideal person thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly client-focused, a strong communicator and brings extensive experience in project managing HR systems implementations.
The role is home-based but requires flexibility to be on-site with clients as needed.
Your main responsibilities
- Project Management
- Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and scope are met.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and stakeholder alignment.
- Manage and chair steering committee meetings, driving executive-level decision-making.
- Influence C-suite executives and key stakeholders, ensuring business alignment and buy-in
- Identify and mitigate project risks while proactively addressing any issues.
- Develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success, escalating to management when appropriate.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure successful integration and adoption of solutions.
- Manage project plan, documentation, reporting, and governance according to best practices.
- Facilitate regular status meetings, update reports, and ensure clear communication among all stakeholders.
- Proactively manage scope changes, dependencies, and issue resolution.
Requirements Gathering & Solution Design
- Conduct discovery workshops to gather functional and technical requirements.
- Translate business needs into system design and configuration plans.
- Document and validate client requirements and future-state HR processes.
System Implementation & Data Migration
- Configure HiBob modules in line with client needs and best practices.
- Oversee data mapping, cleansing, transformation, and validation activities.
- Lead or support the successful migration of employee and organisational data.
- Demonstrate excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, data manipulation and visualisation, PowerPoint and report writing skills
Testing & UAT
- Develop and manage test plans, scripts, and scenarios.
- Guide clients through UAT preparation, execution, and resolution of defects or feedback.
Training, Change Management & Enablement
- Design and deliver customised training for HR teams, managers, and employees.
- Develop user guides and self-service resources.
- Support change management planning to ensure high user adoption and readiness.
Go-Live & Post-Launch Support
- Manage go-live activities, triage issues, and oversee system handover.
- Provide stabilisation and continuous improvement support post-launch.
- Offer strategic advice for long-term system optimisation and enhancement.
Skills & Requirements
- Project Management and Delivery Experience
- Proven experience leading HiBob implementation projects end to end.
- Experience working as an independent contractor with a strong ability to work autonomously.
- Experienced in project management, preferably within HRIS, HCM, or WFM implementation.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in project management and resourcing tools.
- Proven ability to manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously and deliver on time and within scope.
- Strong organisational skills with an appreciation for the importance of timely, complete, and accurate documentation.
- A completer-finisher who keeps track of open items and sees actions through to closure.
