Summary: The HR Operations Assistant role is a temporary position within a PE Backed Education business, offering a fully remote working arrangement. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in mail merges and compliance, with a strong attention to detail. A DBS check is required, and having an active one is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting with pay award process / letters / mail merges.
- Supporting with mail merges for high volume of employees (1000s)
- Supporting with upcoming project work
- Full employee life cycle support - On-boarding / Right to work / Reporting / Leavers etc
- Potential to support across UK and other countries (USA, Switz) - experience of this would be ideal
- Support the team with queries to free up the HR Ops Manager
- HR Ops specific experience is required - ie; this is a HR ops role and not generalist HR.
- Education / SCR (Single Central Register) experience would be ideal but understand unlikely. This means you will be responsible for and supporting with all the safer recruitment checks. (These checks are different in the Education sector so if you have worked within education sector you will be familiar with what SCR).
Key Skills:
- Previous experience working in an HR Ops / administrative capacity in the Education or Public sector industry
- Experience with mail merges is essential
- Enhanced DBS is desirable
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong excel experience as you will utilise this daily
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally as will be liaising with senior stakeholders
- Highly organised, accountable and organised
