HR MANAGER - PART TIME
Location: Remote, UK based.
Job Type: Part time hours, inital temporary assignment
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of our Human Resources function. This is a standalone remote role responsible for supporting employees and management across a wide range of HR activities, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, and promoting a positive workplace culture.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, professional, and able to manage confidential information with discretion. They will play a key role in supporting staff wellbeing, employee relations, and HR administration.
Employee Relations
- Manage and advise on employee grievances and complaints.
- Lead and support disciplinary procedures in line with company policies and employment law.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
- Support conflict resolution and employee engagement initiatives.
HR Administration
- Draft, review, and maintain employment contracts.
- Create and update job descriptions across the organisation.
- Maintain accurate employee records using HR systems.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR best practices.
Staff Wellbeing
- Develop and promote employee wellbeing initiatives.
- Support employees with wellbeing-related concerns.
- Assist in creating a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Absence and Leave Management
- Manage sickness absence records and processes.
- Administer sick pay in accordance with company policies.
- Oversee holiday entitlement, leave requests, and absence tracking.
- Produce absence reports and identify trends where appropriate.
HR Systems and Reporting
- Maintain and manage the company's HR system, including BreatheHR
- Generate HR reports and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure data protection and confidentiality requirements are met.
Qualifications
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (minimum requirement).
- Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
Experience
- Previous experience in an HR Manager, HR Advisor, or similar HR role.
- Experience handling disciplinary, grievance, and employee relations cases.
- Experience managing HR administration processes and employee records.
