Summary: The HR Data Integration Engineer role focuses on supporting advanced data development and modernization initiatives within an enterprise HR analytics environment. The position involves developing complex database objects, transforming and validating HR data, and facilitating enterprise reporting and analytics. The role is remote and requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure accurate data usage and reporting. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and database objects across multiple relational database platforms.
- Support HR data modernization initiatives by translating legacy database logic into modern cloud-based HR data solutions.
- Design and implement data structures, transformations, and database objects for analytics, reporting, and downstream consumption.
- Utilize enterprise reporting and analytics tools to source, validate, and interpret HR data.
- Analyze HR application functionality and underlying data structures to ensure accurate reporting and data usage.
- Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and analytics teams to define and validate business requirements, metrics, and data logic.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including data definitions, business rules, source-to-target mappings, data lineage, and governance artifacts.
- Perform data quality validation, reconciliation, and cross-system issue resolution.
- Support additional data engineering and analytics initiatives as needed.
