Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced HR Consultant to join our team on an interim basis at our Silverstone (UK) office, with a dedicated focus on supporting and strengthening our operations in Germany. This role is centred on delivering expert guidance in German HR practices, ensuring full compliance with local employment legislation, and embedding robust, scalable people frameworks tailored to the German market. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors, you will act as the subject matter expert on German HR, driving both operational excellence and strategic alignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the lead advisor on German employment law, ensuring all HR activities are fully compliant with local legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct detailed compliance audits and gap analyses across German HR practices, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.
  • Design, develop, and implement HR policies, contracts, and documentation fully aligned with German statutory requirements.
  • Provide expert guidance on German market standards, including employee benefits, compensation structures, and policy frameworks.
  • Identify, define, and document country-specific HR processes required for operating effectively in Germany.
  • Support Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives, ensuring alignment with German legal frameworks and cultural expectations.
  • Advise on employee data handling in line with GDPR and German data protection regulations (e.g., BDSG), ensuring compliant HR data practices.
  • Provide hands-on support and expert advice on German employee relations matters as they arise.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to build scalable, compliant HR processes tailored to German operations.
