Summary: The HR Answers Advisor role is a contractor position focused on providing expert HR guidance and support primarily to the French market. The advisor will serve as the first point of contact for internal and external clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring compliance with French employment law. This position requires fluency in both French and English, along with a strong background in HR practices. The role is fully remote and involves managing a high volume of HR requests efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance, information, and support to employees at all levels on HR matters, with an emphasis on delivering exceptional customer service in both English and French.
- Manage a high volume of employee inquiries and tickets in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely tracking, documentation, and reporting on HR requests.
- Deliver personalized care and support through various communication channels, including chat, phone, and casework.
- Use a verify-and-research approach to offer quick and accurate information about company policies, HR programs, systems, and services.
- Assist and coach employees on navigating internal tools, systems, and resources to promote self-service and empowerment.
- Support the implementation and execution of core HR programs, addressing business needs and aligning with company goals.
- Collaborate with other COEs and cross-functional teams to resolve complex situations and provide recommendations for effective action.
- Take ownership of 1-2 Point of Contact (POC) roles, supporting HR projects, programs, or initiatives, and representing HRAnswers at a regional or global level.
- Ensure adherence to personal Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for responsiveness, turnaround time, and the overall employee experience.
- Apply your knowledge of French employment laws to guide and advise on compliance and local regulations where applicable.
Key Skills:
- Fluency in both French and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- At least 3 years of experience in a client-facing HR role, with solid knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and best practices.
- In-depth understanding of French employment law, including statutory requirements, employee rights, and compliance matters.
- Experience supporting a range of HR functions, such as Leave of Absence (LOA), Payroll, Benefits, and more.
- Experience working with Workday or similar Human Capital Management (HCM) systems.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or other ticketing systems for HR case management.
