The ideal candidate will have some relevant experience as a HR Generalist and possess a strong understanding of HR processes and practices. Duration:
Temporary contract role with potential for a permanent position.
Working hours:
37 hours per week - Monday to Friday (1 day permitted to work remotely)
Rates:
First 12 Weeks:
PAYE: 18.14 per hour or Umbrella Payment Company: 22.51 per hour.
Post 12 Weeks:
PAYE: 20.59 per hour or Umbrella Payment Company: 27.04 per hour.
Your future role
Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will collaborate with a diverse group of skilled professionals within both HR and broader corporate and service functions. Your role will involve providing support and guidance to managers and employees across the organisation on various HR topics.
As a key point of contact for the business function you support, you will leverage your HR expertise while also being open to enhancing your skills and experience.
On a daily basis, you will engage closely with various teams throughout the organisation, assisting with a wide array of HR-related issues.
We'll look to you for:
Advising on local terms and conditions of service and employment legislation.
Develop a partnership with business managers and support the delivery of HR KPI's
Develop and maintain positive and open employee relations
Support the development and implementation of standard documentation, processes and procedures
Support the Absence management Process
Absence Management Data, KPI's
Supporting recruitment from a local level
Carry out general HR activities whilst ensuring continuous improvement of HR services
Management of Agency Temps and their agencies.
Support the Services HR team with all internal systems ie Alista and ALPS etc by monitoring & generate reports, ensuring management team meet the KPI deadlines
Co-ordinate and support Services HR team with People Management processes
Support annual employee engagement survey
Support with Payroll queries, checking luna and monthly payroll etc
Supporting with the International Mobility administration
Support with Ad-hoc HR Projects

Desired Knowledge/Experience:
A degree of relevant experience of working in Human Resources generalist role with specific experience relating to operational HR and policy development, ideally within a unionised environment
Experience of working on own initiative, as autonomy will be required
Experience of working with HR information systems
Strong knowledge of HR employment laws, regulations, and best practices
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Ability to analyse and interpret data to make informed decisions
Planning and organisation skills
Ability to meet deadlines
Flexible and quick to adapt
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
Education Requirements:
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent or will be working towards a professional people related qualification, such as CIPD
