Summary: The Construction Manager will oversee the execution of CCUS projects, ensuring safety, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to schedules. This role involves collaboration with project teams and the development of construction standards and organization. The manager will also support contract management and provide insights on construction performance parameters. The position is remote, requiring regular international travel to project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe and effective execution of CCUS projects in terms of cost and schedule.
• Collaborate with CCUS project teams and the Carbon Management team.
• Develop construction organization and standards for CCUS projects.
• Support contract management, quantity surveying, and variation requests.
• Analyze construction aspects during inception and design phases for project delivery.
• Provide construction performance parameters to support project execution scheduling.
• Recommend cost-efficient construction approaches and necessary organizational blueprints.
• Identify and qualify capable construction contractors and pre-fabrication yards.
• Define minimum requirements for quayside and transport routes.
• Ensure proper sea fastening of equipment for transport.
• Develop a Construction Standard with minimum requirements.

Key Skills:

• BSc or MSc in Construction Management.
• Up to 15 years of experience with EPC contractors or owner organizations in process facilities projects.
• Exposure to large projects (>1 bln CHF) and medium projects (200 mln CHF each).
• Demonstrated construction delivery experience in a leadership role.
• Technical HSE knowledge in construction.
• Ability to engage with project teams across Europe and the Middle East.
• Clear communication and structured thinking skills.
• Leadership and influencing abilities from a distance.
• Fluency in English; other language skills are a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally to project sites.
