Title: IT Applications Administrator - Remote (10 Openings)

Location: Remote

Duration: 12 Months with possibilities of extension

Description: This position is Nonexempt. Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half.

Manager is looking for:

  • List 3-5 hard requirements for the role:
    • 4-year degree or 4 years of direct experience in IT
  • List any preferred requirements that would stand out on a resume:
    • Knowledge of Atlassian Products – specifically JSM
    • Experience working with Managers – high level of communication skills
    • Experience working extremely closely with an IT team
    • Vendor/Tool AI Validation with client corporate and anything Airtable.
  • List Top Skills you are looking for:
    • Experience writing tools for and using API’s ~ We have an occasional need to work with various API’s in the software/tools we manage. While we do have a resource for this in a separate department, it would be a ‘nice-to-have’ if we found someone that had experience with working with APIs here.

    • Tasks widely vary from processing Jira Requests to meeting with ADC Managers to discuss Vendor Onboarding. Very wide variety of tasks. The individual will be working very closely with the other AppOps team members/employees
  • Description of work environment/department:
    • Remote workers. Most communication is done via Slack and Teams with some email.

    In addition to what the manager has listed: Looking for 4 different types of profiles from candidates. All types will need a 4-year degree in an IT-related field with 2 years of experience in a specific area of experience. If does not have a 4 year degree, must have AT LEAST 4 years of direct experience in specific area. The manager prefers experience over a degree. Manager was asked about an Associates degree with 15 years of related experience and manager is open to that. Certifications are good 100% REMOTE but doesn’t need to be specific to any particular time zone so 9 am to 5 pm workers time zone. Manager said if have a medical device or a regulated good but NOT required.

    • 1. Atlassian exp. Must have Jira service management experience. Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket are all parts of Atlassian. Day to day, client has over 1300 SW/HW developers who submit 50 to 100 requests a day to add tools etc. for several products. This is a hands-on position and looking for someone with Admin experience in Atlassian. SharePoint exp. Must be an Admin of SharePoint. 2 years’ experience as Admin is good. Managing Vendors ~ Candidates who have worked in a “quality” or “quality control” environment, as this will require strong attention to detail, great communication with all levels of Leadership and will be handling both the onboarding and offboarding of vendors (not procurement).
    • Special Operatives Group ~ Experience writing tools for and using API’s. Heavy technical background in API. Will be writing, building, interfacing programs. In software tools client manages. New Stuff - Vendor/Tool AI Validation with client corporate and anything Airtable.
