Summary: The Healthcare Coalition Preparedness Coordinator is responsible for managing emergency preparedness initiatives within public health and safety sectors. This role requires extensive experience in data tracking, meeting facilitation, and emergency management planning. The coordinator will work closely with various stakeholders to identify training needs and ensure effective communication and resource allocation. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify preparedness gaps and appropriate resources or solutions in public health or public safety emergency preparedness.
- Track data and inventory, completing reports and documentation.
- Support emergency management planning, training, and exercise activities, including grant deliverable tracking and reporting.
- Facilitate and manage meetings with program agencies and local partners, maintaining meeting notes.
- Identify and communicate program training and support needs.
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications effectively.
- Provide feedback, guidance, corrective action, coaching, and skill development.
- Delegate work, set clear direction, and manage workflow.
Key Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in public health or public safety emergency preparedness.
