Summary: The role of Health & Wellbeing Practitioner involves leading a six-month project for a government organization aimed at enhancing support for colleagues needing workplace adjustments. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a diagnostic review of current workplace adjustment processes, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Produce a practical report with clear recommendations to improve efficiency and accessibility for colleagues requiring adjustments.
- Support managers in fulfilling their responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with the Equality Act 2010.
- Draft and present an updated Workplace Adjustments Policy.
- Design a clear process flow for handling adjustments.
- Engage stakeholders through interviews and workshops, incorporating feedback into recommendations and policy updates.
- Explore options for managing workplace adjustment costs.
- Develop a phased implementation plan.
Key Skills:
- Demonstrable experience as a Health & Wellbeing Practitioner or similar role, with strong expertise in workplace adjustments and disability inclusion.
- Knowledge of the Equality Act 2010 and employer obligations regarding reasonable adjustments.
