Summary: A leading bio-pharmaceutical organization is looking for a Health Economic Evidence Lead to manage HTA and payer evidence strategies for mid-to-late-stage assets, guiding them from clinical development to commercial launch. The role involves collaboration with external partners, designing health economics strategies, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. The ideal candidate should have significant experience in healthcare, particularly within the pharmaceutical industry. This position is offered as a part-time, remote contract with occasional travel to the London area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and lead HTA and payer evidence strategies to demonstrate the full value of in-development and launched assets
  • Input into Phase II–IV study design and endpoint selection
  • Influence indication language and labelling strategy
  • Support development and tailoring of core value and claims documentation
  • Design, develop, and implement global health economics strategies and evidence-generation projects demonstrating clinical, humanistic, and economic value
  • Lead collaboration with external vendors and partners, ensuring high-quality deliverables are completed on time
  • Analyse and interpret clinical outcomes and drive internal and external value communication, including scientific publications, aligned with brand strategy
  • Deliver global economic and HTA tools to regional and affiliate teams, providing ongoing support to enable reimbursement and market uptake
  • Contribute to and lead high-level external stakeholder interactions, including advisory boards and research governance meetings, and oversee local/regional HEOR projects where required

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific area - additional qualification in healthcare, business or economics is advantageous
  • 5 years’ experience in a healthcare environment, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry or HEOR/market access consulting
  • At least 3 years’ experience in an affiliate, regional, or global role focused on access strategy and/or payer evidence development

A leading bio-pharmaceutical organisation is seeking an experienced Health Economic Evidence Lead to drive HTA and payer evidence strategy across mid-to-late-stage assets, from clinical development through to commercial launch, with exposure to early-stage assets as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and lead HTA and payer evidence strategies to demonstrate the full value of in-development and launched assets
  • Input into Phase II–IV study design and endpoint selection
  • Influence indication language and labelling strategy
  • Support development and tailoring of core value and claims documentation
  • Design, develop, and implement global health economics strategies and evidence-generation projects demonstrating clinical, humanistic, and economic value

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific area - additional qualification in healthcare, business or economics is advantageous
  • 5 years’ experience in a healthcare environment, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry or HEOR/market access consulting
  • At least 3 years’ experience in an affiliate, regional, or global role focused on access strategy and/or payer evidence development
