Summary: The Head of Data role involves leading a team of data engineers and architects to deliver complex data solutions across healthcare, financial services, and education technology sectors. The position requires providing technical leadership in designing modern data platforms and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to influence strategic data initiatives while maintaining high standards of code quality and security. Occasional travel to major UK cities is expected.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a small, high-performing team of data engineers and architects delivering complex solutions across healthcare, financial services, and education technology projects.
• Provide technical leadership on the design and implementation of modern data platforms, pipelines, and cloud architectures.
• Work closely with client stakeholders to understand requirements, shape technical roadmaps, and ensure solutions meet both strategic goals and regulatory standards.
• Act as the primary technical authority for data engineering best practices, ensuring high code quality, scalability, and security across all client engagements.
• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of data projects, from initial discovery and architecture design to deployment and optimisation.
