DTI has an immediate need for a Talent Management Module Lead for a 21Month engagement in San Antonio, Tx.

Consultant should be ok with up to 50% travel

Role Overview

We are seeking a Talent Management Module Lead to support a large-scale HCM transformation for a major public utility client. This role will lead the design, configuration, and delivery of Talent Management capabilities, serving as the functional SME and primary point of contact for the module.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise across Talent Management processes and a proven ability to drive transformation in complex, regulated environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Talent Management workstream, including:
    • Goals & Performance Management
    • Career Development
    • Talent Review & Succession Planning
    • Touchpoints, Grow, and Dynamic Skills
  • Own end-to-end functional delivery for the module, including design, configuration, testing, and deployment
  • Act as the SME and primary client-facing lead, providing best practices and advising on process transformation
  • Facilitate requirements gathering, design workshops, and solution validation sessions
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, integrated HCM solutions aligned with enterprise objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration across HCM modules
  • Drive process standardization and optimization aligned with leading practices
  • Support project governance, including:
    • Status reporting
    • Jira tracking and updates
    • Risk and issue management
  • Lead and coordinate testing activities (SIT/UAT) and support cutover and go-live readiness
  • Partner with client stakeholders to support decision-making, approvals, and change adoption

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in HCM Talent Management implementations
  • Proven experience as a Module Lead or Functional Lead on enterprise HCM programs
  • Deep functional expertise in:
    • Performance Management
    • Succession Planning
    • Talent Reviews
    • Career Development
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major HCM platform (Workday, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors)
  • Strong experience in Agile delivery environments and tools such as Jira
  • Demonstrated ability to lead client-facing workshops and cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in utilities or other regulated industries
  • Prior experience working with large system integrators or consulting firms
  • Exposure to skills-based talent models and workforce transformation initiatives
  • Experience supporting full lifecycle HCM implementations
