Summary: The HCM Manager role focuses on leading the implementation and enhancement of HR modules, including Core HR, Benefits, Payroll, and Time & Labor, while supporting enterprise-wide HR operations. The position requires strong communication and presentation skills, along with experience in managing complex benefit plans and integrations with third-party platforms. The role is currently remote but requires the ability to go onsite when necessary. It is a contract-to-hire position based in Iselin, NJ.
Key Responsibilities:
- Led the implementation and enhancement of Core HR, Benefits, Payroll, and Time & Labor modules while supporting enterprise-wide HR operations for Columbia University.
- Designed and configured complex benefit plans, including retirement and health programs, during GEICO's open enrollment cycle to ensure compliance and improve employee access.
- Customized rules and automation for Time & Labor and Absence Management as part of Columbia University’s initiative to align leave policies with academic and union requirements.
- Developed scalable self-service functionalities for managers and employees across global business units during Amazon’s PeopleSoft expansion, leveraging PeopleTools and custom interfaces.
- Oversaw job and payroll data migration during DTCC’s full HCM implementation, ensuring accurate conversion from legacy systems and maintaining payroll continuity.
- Engineered real-time integrations between PeopleSoft and third-party platforms such as Salesforce and external payroll providers to streamline Amazon’s high-volume hiring and international payroll processes.
- Delivered production support and system enhancements across Core HR and Benefits Administration during XL Global’s PeopleSoft HRMS engagement, resolving complex issues and optimizing workflows.
