HCD Service Designer - up to £400 per day Inside IR35 - Remote

About the Role

Exalto Consulting are supporting a major digital transformation programme seeking an experienced Human-Centred Design (HCD) Service Designer.

You will lead end-to-end service design from discovery through definition, creating evidence-based services that integrate digital and physical touchpoints while working with multidisciplinary Agile teams.

What you will be doing

• Lead end-to-end service design.
• Plan and deliver discovery.
• Produce service blueprints and system maps.
• Facilitate co-creation workshops.
• Design service experiments and prototypes.
• Shape delivery roadmaps with Product Managers and Product Owners.
• Define service metrics and value.
• Coach Service Designers and champion HCD.

What you will bring

• Significant Service Design/HCD experience.
• End-to-end service design delivery.
• Service blueprinting, journey mapping and systems thinking.
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder management.
• Qualitative and quantitative research synthesis.
• Agile delivery experience.
• Excellent communication skills.

Desirable Experience

• NHS service design.
• GOV.UK/GDS or UK public sector digital services.
• Large-scale digital transformation.

Essential Requirements

• BPSS eligible.
• UK-based.
• Strong HCD and Service Design background.
