Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing Vault solutions, including namespaces, secret engines, and authentication methods.
  • Configuring and maintaining Vault instances for various applications and platforms, including IBM Cloud services like Ceph Object Gateway.
  • Collaborating with development teams to integrate Vault into CI/CD pipelines and applications.
  • Participating in an on-call rotation for production issues related to Vault availability and performance.
  • Implementing security controls at various layers (Kubernetes, infrastructure, etc.) within the IBM Cloud environment, potentially using Vault.
  • Working with HashiCorp Boundary to secure user access across dynamic environments.
  • Developing and advocating for new features and enhancements related to Vault and cloud security.
