Summary: We are looking for an experienced UAT Test Lead with expertise in the Guidewire insurance platform to lead User Acceptance Testing activities for Guidewire-based insurance systems. The role requires strong technical, analytical, and leadership skills to ensure that system changes meet business requirements and are thoroughly tested. The position is remote and requires working during EST hours. The candidate must be willing to work on a W2 basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive UAT test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure Guidewire system changes meet business requirements.
  • Identify and prioritize testing requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure testing scope is aligned with business objectives.
  • Create detailed test cases and test scripts to validate Guidewire system functionality, including policy, claims, billing, and other insurance-specific processes.
  • Ensure test cases cover all aspects of system changes, including functional, integrations, and data migration testing.
  • Coordinate with IT teams to set up and configure UAT test environments, including Guidewire system instances, data sources, and testing tools.
  • Ensure test environments are adequately sized and configured to support testing requirements.
  • Lead and coordinate UAT testing activities, including testing, defect reporting, and defect tracking.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to identify and resolve UAT defects and issues.

Key Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related field, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Proven experience with Guidewire InsuranceSuite (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter) is required.
  • Experience in UAT testing, creating test strategy, test planning, and test execution is essential.
  • Experience writing Gherkin/Cucumber syntax for BDD.
  • Experience building out Automation test scripts from ADO user stories.
  • Experience using LoadRunner for performance Testing is a plus.
  • Experience working in large-scale Guidewire implementations or upgrades.
  • Experience working and coordinating with offshore testing partners and holding them accountable for delivery.
  • Guidewire certification (Guidewire Certified Associate) is required.
  • Certified Software Testing Professional (CSTP) or Certified Test Engineer (CTE) certification is desirable.
