Summary: The Guidewire Product Owner is responsible for defining and driving the product vision, backlog, and delivery of Guidewire PolicyCenter for property insurance products. This role requires hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter and a strong understanding of Property & Casualty insurance. The Product Owner will align the product roadmap with business goals and manage product enhancements for policy administration and underwriting workflows. Participation in Agile ceremonies is also a key aspect of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and manage product vision for property/dwelling insurance solutions
- Align roadmap with business goals, market needs, and regulatory requirements
- Drive product enhancements for policy administration and underwriting workflows
- Own and prioritize product backlog (features, user stories, defects)
- Define user stories and acceptance criteria for Guidewire implementations
- Participate in Agile ceremonies: Sprint planning, Backlog grooming, Reviews and retrospectives
Key Skills:
- Hands-on experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter
- Strong understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance
- Knowledge of Dwelling/Homeowners/Commercial Property lines
- Understanding of product model (coverages, risk, rating)
