Summary: The Guidewire/Earnix Rating Lead is responsible for the design, configuration, and implementation of rating and product model changes within Guidewire PolicyCenter. This role requires collaboration with business analysts and solution architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions, as well as integration with various systems. Strong proficiency in Gosu programming and hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter Rating Engine are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and implement rating and product model changes within Guidewire PolicyCenter.
- Develop and maintain rate books, rate tables, and rate routines using Gosu and XML.
- Work closely with business analysts and solution architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Integrate the Guidewire rating engine with other systems, such as billing, claims, and external rating services.
- Perform unit and regression testing, document rating configurations, and maintain change history.
- Ensure configurations adhere to Guidewire best practices and version upgrade standards.
- Strong proficiency in Gosu programming.
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter Rating Engine.
- Experience with Guidewire Studio, Configuration, and Integration frameworks.
