Summary: As a Mid-weight Graphic Designer, you will contribute significantly to the design and execution of branding concepts for an international games studio. This role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to create high-quality visuals that align with brand strategies. You will be responsible for ideating new branding concepts, executing existing frameworks, and maintaining brand guidelines. Your work will support the development of engaging visuals for unreleased games and ongoing live-service projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ideate and design new branding concepts for unreleased games as part of a larger team
- Execute on existing branding frameworks
- Create quick-turn assets for ongoing live-service games, often with quick turnaround
- Create and maintain brand guidelines documents
- Readying and versioning key art and other brand visuals for publishing
- Assist with designing pitch presentations for game teams to communicate their vision
- Create a range of templates for global territory teams to execute on
Key Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in a graphic design and branding role, in an agency or in-house setting
- Experience working in gaming or the wider entertainment industry is a plus
- Highly experienced with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma
- Working knowledge and willingness to learn After Effects, InDesign, Google Slides, Keynote, Canva and Affinity is a plus
- Experience and proficiency in playing video games and an interest in the gaming industry
- An interest in experimentation with AI tools and automation is beneficial
- A portfolio showcasing a range of design work, demonstrating strong conceptual foundations, spanning branding, and a variety of campaign assets
- A keen eye for typography, colour, and composition, with the ability to translate complex ideas into compelling visuals
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
