Summary: The Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Analyst role involves collaborating with leading AI research labs to enhance AI's understanding of governance, risk, and compliance. The position requires practical experience in security policies, compliance frameworks, and risk management to evaluate and train AI systems. Analysts will review real-world scenarios and provide feedback on AI-generated content. This role is fully remote and offers flexible hours between 10 to 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze security policies, controls, and compliance procedures for accuracy and quality
- Evaluate real-world GRC scenarios involving frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST
- Assess risk statements, control mappings, and audit-style documentation
- Generate and validate training and evaluation data that helps AI reason correctly about compliance and risk
- Provide structured, precise written feedback on AI-generated GRC content
Key Skills:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in GRC, compliance, or risk management
- Solid working knowledge of at least one major framework — SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, or similar
- Comfortable reading and interpreting policy documents, control narratives, and audit artifacts
- Detail-oriented with strong written reasoning skills
- Able to work independently and asynchronously
- Experience with data annotation, data quality, or AI evaluation workflows (nice to have)
- Background in information security, internal audit, or enterprise risk (nice to have)
- Familiarity with multiple compliance frameworks across different industries (nice to have)
