Summary: The Governance & Assurance Administrator role involves supporting a Social Housing Association in governance activities on a 3-month locum contract. The position is full-time, remote, and requires experience in corporate governance. The successful candidate will coordinate meetings, support internal controls, and assist with data protection tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the delivery of a wide range of governance work including coordinating Board & Committee meetings and papers
  • Supporting the Governance Lead with various governance activities in line with the organisation’s governance framework
  • Leading on administrative work around internal board meetings
  • Providing proactive administrative support of the internal control framework, including the internal audit programme, risk management, and key performance indicators
  • Collating information required to support insurance claims responses, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness
  • Supporting data protection work through collation of information for subject access requests
  • Reviewing company policies and procedures to ensure they remain up to date

Detailed Description From Employer:

We are currently partnering with a Social Housing Association, who are recruiting for a Governance & Assurance Administrator to join their growing team on a 3 month locum contract. This is a full-time position (35 hours per week) with an hourly rate of circa. £18.00/hour, via an umbrella company (subject to experience) and the start date is subject to notice. This role can be worked on a fully remote.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Supporting the delivery of a wide range of governance work including co-ordinating Board & Committee meetings and papers
  • Supporting the Governance Lead with a wide range of governance activity in line with the organisation’s governance framework
  • Leading on administrative work around internal board meetings
  • Providing proactive administrative support of the internal control framework which includes the internal audit programme, risk management and key performance indicators
  • Collating information required to support insurance claims responses and ensuring that information is complete, accurate and timely
  • Supporting with data protection work through collation of information required for subject access requests received
  • Reviewing company policies and procedures to ensure they remain up to date
