Google Cloud Platform Solutions Architect

Summary: The Google Cloud Platform Solutions Architect is responsible for leading the architecture of cloud solutions, focusing on ingestion, processing, serving, and APIs. This role involves selecting appropriate Google Cloud services, defining security measures, and producing reference architectures while ensuring compliance and cost-effectiveness. The architect will also map business requirements to technical roadmaps and review designs to meet non-functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end architecture across ingestion, processing, serving & APIs
• Select Google Cloud Platform services (BQ, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Composer, GKE) & integration patterns
• Define security (IAM, VPC SC, CMEK), resiliency, DR/RTO/RPO, compliance
• Produce reference architectures, ADRs, sequence diagrams
• Review designs/PRs; ensure NFRs & cost targets are met
• Map business requirements to technical roadmaps & milestones

Key Skills:

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform services
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and design principles
• Knowledge of security measures in cloud environments
• Ability to produce technical documentation and reference architectures
• Experience in mapping business requirements to technical solutions
