Summary: The role of Google Cloud Platform Cloud Engineer involves designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based systems on Google Cloud Platform while ensuring compliance with security standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, deploy and maintain modular cloud-based systems in Google Cloud Platform (PGA, VertexAI, BigQuery etc.)
- Automate Infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using solutions like Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins etc.
- Ensure efficient use of cloud resources, and adhere to security best practices (firewalls, ACLs etc.)
- Collaborate with various teams to implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, and automate processes
- Support AI and machine learning initiatives.
- Provide cloud support and make recommendations based on client needs.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with cloud infrastructure
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible
