Summary: The Google Cloud Platform Engineer role focuses on implementing identity management and networking segmentation within Google Cloud across multiple projects. The position requires collaboration with architects and security teams to provision resources using Terraform and to address technical issues efficiently. The engineer will also guide infrastructure movement techniques and support scalable networking designs. This is a remote position, primarily for candidates in the EST/CST time zones.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementation experience with identity management and networking segmentation in Google Cloud Platform across multiple VPC networks and multiple projects.
• Work closely with Architect, Security/application team and provision Google Cloud Platform resources via terraform.
• Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques, including bulk application transfers into the cloud.
• Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the needs of the company.
• Support cross-functional teams with establishing technical strategy and architecture at an enterprise level.
• Support scalable networking design including high availability, redundancy, fail-over and load balancing.
• 3+ years of Google Cloud Platform experience on provisioning resources via Terraform.
• Google Cloud Professional Certified.
• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform services (i.e. Cloud Services Platform, Google Kubernetes Engine, Compute Engine, Google Cloud Load Balancing, Storage, Security, Monitoring, etc.).
• Knowledge of Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Key Management, Access Controls and Security Protocols, Network routing, Firewalls, ACL's, cloud IaaS components on Google Cloud Platform.

Key Skills:

• 3+ years of Google Cloud Platform experience on provisioning resources via Terraform.
• Google Cloud Professional Certified.
