Summary: The Google Cloud Platform Cloud Solutions Architect - SME is responsible for designing and implementing enterprise infrastructure for cloud computing, ensuring secure integration with existing applications. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement enterprise infrastructure and platforms for cloud computing.
- Analyze system requirements and ensure secure integration with current applications.
- Lead design, development, and deployment of performant cloud business software.
- Advise IT groups on Cloud-based Microservices/SOA architectures.
- Create architecture deliverables including bill of materials and cost estimations.
- Prepare solution descriptions, assumptions, and risk/mitigation plans.
- Research industry trends and make recommendations for cloud adoption.
- Provide technical direction to management and IT professionals.
- Publish/update solution standards for cloud-hosted solutions.
- Ensure alignment of infrastructure/application design with enterprise architecture.
