Summary: The Google Cloud Platform Cloud Integration Engineer role focuses on implementing scalable, event-driven integration solutions using various Google Cloud services. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement UIL using Cloud Run and GKE hybrid deployment models for scalable, event-driven integration.
- Implement event-driven workflows leveraging Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and containerized microservices.
- Establish and enforce API standards, error-handling conventions, and integration patterns across distributed systems.
- Implement and maintain observability pipelines with Cloud Logging, BigQuery, and Cloud Monitoring for auditability and performance analytics.
- Build and optimize DR and cost-efficient architectures across multiple regions using Terraform and Cloud Deploy.
- Continuously evaluate and improve system reliability, scalability, and performance.
Key Skills:
- 7 10+ years in backend/integration development or cloud engineering.
- Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform, especially: Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Logging, Cloud Storage, IAM, Secret Manager, Cloud Build/Deploy.
- Strong background in distributed systems, API design, and message-driven architectures.
- Proficiency in Python, Node.js, or Java.
- Familiarity with warehouse and ERP integration patterns (e.g., order orchestration, ASN, inventory sync).
