Summary: We are looking for a seasoned Google Apigee Architect to lead API strategy and governance for enterprise integration projects in a fully remote capacity with Whirlpool. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in integration architecture and a strong background in Google Apigee. Description:
We are seeking an experienced Google Apigee Architect for a fully remote contract engagement with Whirlpool. In this role, you will own API strategy, architecture, and governance for enterprise integration initiatives, working directly with client stakeholders and delivery teams.

Requirements:
10+ years in integration/middleware architecture, including 5+ years hands-on with Google Apigee
Strong experience with RESTful API design, OpenAPI/Swagger, and API-first architecture
Deep expertise in API security patterns (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, mTLS)
Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services: IAM, VPC, Cloud Functions, Cloud Logging/Monitoring
