Global Network Coordinator (Remote) The Global Institute on Innovation Districts (GIID) is seeking a self-directed, technology-savvy professional to help advance our global agenda to new heights.
GIID is a global-reaching not-for-profit organization of researchers and practitioners working with leading innovation districts worldwide.
Innovation districts are urban innovation geographies anchored by R&D-rich universities and medical institutions.
Their power lies in the growth of a broader ecosystem, which includes companies, startups, schools, workforce training programs and a walkable, accessible environment.
They are among the smartest innovation ecosystems on earth, with the capacity to tackle complex challenges such as climate change, cancer, and infectious diseases.
Over the past six years, GIID has designed and operated a Global Network of Innovation Districts, with 75 districts participating across 22 countries.
The Network combines a peer-to-peer learning community with a curated program delivered through three programming tiers each offering increasing levels of support.
The Global Network also directly supports GIID's research: insights and data from participating districts inform GIID's published research, while that research shapes the frameworks and programming GIID delivers back to the Network.
As the Global Network Coordinator, you will play a central role in relationship and participation management across our Network: supporting the onboarding process, the online Network sessions, district recruitment, and building the surveys we use to collect information from districts.
You will work closely with our Global Network Assistant, who supports the systems and logistics behind this work, and with the Network Director, whom you will support directly.
If you are motivated by global impact and energized by working with ambitious leaders around the world, we encourage you to apply through the appropriate channels. Only applications submitted through the instructions below will be considered. Read more about GIID and our work at www.giid.org.
